Outfitting our Overland Expedition Vehicle
A recent purchase of a Gray Man 21.25 X 17 RMP™ has been a great addition, as well as a slick problem solving feature for our vintage overland project. We are currently updating an 1953 M37 Ex US Army Dodge Power Wagon into a Desert Overland Expedition Vehicle. Although the M37 is a big brute of a pickup truck, the cab is small and has minimal space to organize basic items. I purchased the 21.25 X 17 RMP™ to hang on the cab wall behind the driver seat as a way store these loose items. Installation required minor trimming for a perfect fit. I installed nutserts in the cab wall and thumbscrews to secure it. This RMP™ is easily removable to change out the gear depending on the trail. It also allows me to take everything with me if needed (vintage Army vehicles don't have door locks). I anticipate additional RMP™ purchases in the future as this project begins shakedown trail runs and edges closer to completion.
