great addition to my FJ
Here is a pic of the GMT panel mounted in my 2012 FJ Cruiser. I have two 6 inch pouches mounted now. One with general first aid stuff for camping, and the other a trauma kit. A third smaller one on the far right holds a knife and fire starter and other such stuff. I didn’t use the self-drilling screws, only because my hardcore off road buddies thought they would eventually shake loose. (I doubt it) I used stainless bolts and nylock nuts. I also bolted my ram tablet mount to the panel to cut down on the number of holes I drilled through my dash. The quality is good, price is reasonable, and it really helps for storage. -and it looks kind of badass.

FJ forums strike again
I saw a post about the GMT panels on the FJ forums and had to have one. I like the panel and the idea of mounting it on my FJ's dash but not thrilled about where the holes are on the panel. Let me preface with the fact that I don't have a planned layout yet for my IFAK, admin pouch and CB so I mounted the panel without thinking through screw placement. Some of the screws in their current location are going to block the top row if I need to use it, so I will have to move them to the sides. Doesn't thrill me to have more holes drilled. Not sure why the screw placement was not centered between the rows? Also, the screws are not the best looking for such a nice set up, so I am going to replace them with something flush and paint them. Overall the panel is great and likely work just fine with some tweaks.

Received the products from German a while back but only recently had the time to install onto my FJ. The Rigid molle's are great, especially the one made specifically for the FJ, would be great if there were more products like that. I actually cut a small rigid molle panel to fit on the driver side empty space. Only able to mount pouches and tools as I'm in Hong Kong and they don't allow firearms. Love the products, looking forward to purchasing more.

My thought process was to mount something on my FJC dash that has the versatility to adapt to any given situation and satisfying my immediate needs without being too cumbersome. Whether that's mounting an iPad for an easy mobile workstation and/or co-pilot entertainment set-up, packs with various accessories for those off-road, trail treks, etc., etc...you get the picture. This RMP was exactly the piece of hardware I was looking for. It'll serve it's purpose in more ways than one! Highly recommend if you're in need of a mounting point system for your truck.
